You can add any fractions with like denominators by simpling adding the numerators (the tops of
the fractions) and keeping the denominator (the bottoms of the fractions) the same.
In this case 7/10 +5/10 =12/10.
An improper fraction is any fraction where the numorator (top) is a larger number the the
denominator (bottom). To simpliy an improper fraction you divide the numorator by the
denominator.
12/10 simplifed would be 12 divided by 10. (I always tell my student to just think of a fraction
bar as a division symbol since that is really all it is)
10 goes into the number 12 one time so our whole number is 1. We have a remainder of 2 so that
becomes the numorator (or the top) of our new fraction. The denominator does not change. So
our mixed number is now 1 and 2/10.
However, we are not done yet as the answer is not simplifed. Simplified fractions are fractions
where the numorator and denominator share no factors in common. Since 10 and 2 both have a
factor of 2 (2x5=10 and 2x1=2) we can divide both the numerator and denominator by the
number 2 to further simplify our fraction.
2 goes into 2 one time so our new simplified numorator is 1. 2 goes into 10 five times so our
simplified new denominator is 5. So our fractional part of our mixed number simplifes to 1/5.
When we put our simplifed fraction together with the whole number we found earlier you get a
final answer of 1 and 1/5.

For the second term

If this is multiplied by [H+][OH-] , which is Kwater, and divided by [H+] the result is

adding the first and seond terms gives
S = [Al3+] + [Al(OH-)]

The advertisement service can run on any Linux box, but that box will become the default route
for IPv6 traffic. In future your ADSL router will provide router advertisement services. First
assign the Linux box a static IPv6 address from the ULA network: (In the examples that follow I

The term MULTIPLE ALLELE refers to a series of atleast three allelic or alternative form of a
gene with only two that are able to exist in a diploid individual. The multiple alleles are
responsible for the differences in the phenotypic expression of a given trait.
Its like having two alleles.
There are three allele which control the ABO blood group. Odf there are more than two alleles,
then its called as multiple allele.
The allele IA corresponds to blood group A (genotype IAIA) and the allele IB corresponds to
blood group B (genotype IBIB) , both of these are dominant and therefore, if both are present
together, i.e. IAIB then they together form blood group AB ( genotype IAIB). Both affect the
phenotype since they are both codominant. Co-dominant alleles are pairs of alleles that both
affect the phenotype when present together in a heterozygote. The allele i is recessive to both IA
and IB , so if you have the genotype IAi you will have blood group A and if you have genotype
IB i you will have blood group B. However, if you have the genotype ii , then you will be
homozygous for i and will be of blood group O.

You can add any fractions with like denominators by simpling adding the numerators (the tops of

Steps to Configure the Router Advertisement Service
The advertisement service can run on any Linux box, but that box will become the default route
for IPv6 traffic. In future your ADSL router will provide router advertisement services. First
assign the Linux box a static IPv6 address from the ULA network: (In the examples that follow I
use the fd5f:12c9:2201::/48 ULA routing prefix and I have chosen fd5f:12c9:2201:1::/64 as the
network prefix. (ie :1 is the subnet id).

The term MULTIPLE ALLELE refers to a series of atleast three allelic.pdfaptexx

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
