4.  We emerged as species about 200,000 years ago. In geological time that is
really recent.
 Just 10,00 years ago there were 1 Million of us.
 By 1800 there were 1 Billion of us.
 By 1960 there were 3 Billion of us .
 Now there are more than 7 Billion of us .
We got to where we are now through a number of civilization and society
shaping events, most notably agricultural revolution, scientific revolution,
industrial revolution and the public health revolution.

5.  It has grown into an epidemic since mortality rates have decreased.
But how the mortality rate decreased….. ????

Which are keeping us alive for much longer

6.  We hear the term “climate” everyday so what we actually mean by it …??
It is generated by 4 components
1. Atmosphere
2. Hydrosphere
3. Cryosphere
4. Biosphere
But now our activities had started to modify everyone of these components
 Emission of CO2 modify our Atmosphere
 Increasing water use had started to modify Hydrosphere
 Rising atmospheric and sea surface temperature had started to modify the
cryosphere
 Our increasing use of land for agriculture, cities, roads, mining etc had started to
modify our biosphere

7.  Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) have been a major contributor to
the survival of Humans
 GMOs are crops and animals that have had DNA directly implanted into
it in order to give them the advantage to sustain in any environment and
yielding more products.
 GMOs are not always intentional, for years humans have used Glyphosate
a herbicide.
 Just as humans have a learning immune system certain weeds have
developed a resistance to 22 of 25 known herbicides with 249 species of
weeds completely immune.

11. When a butterfly flaps it’s wings somewhere in the world it can cause a
tornado in another part of the world
This might sounds like an unrealistic assumption, how can a slight change
like that one result in big one such as tornado ?
Let’s take an example
A was working in a company where he was mistreated by his manager and
after months of being disrespected he decided to Quit. Before the man left
the company he spoke to three other employees and result was that three
other people decided to Quit too. They all decided to start their own business
after sometime and a lot of hard work their business became successful to the
extent that they started competing with the company they used to work for.
Under the pressure of fierce competition the old company declared
bankruptcy.
