Advantages
 It provides flexibility to it’s multinational operations in the social media and online
advertising market.
 This flexibility is a structural advantage that enables the company to easily respond to
market changes and trends.
 Another advantage of this corporate structure is significant corporate control. For example,
corporate function-based teams are a characteristic that allows Facebook Inc. to maintain
control and direction on its operations worldwide. Moreover, the product-based divisions
support creativity and innovation in product development.
Disadvantages
 Difficulty in implementing directives throughout the corporate structure.
 This difficulty is due to variations in regional management initiatives,
based on the company’s geographical divisions. Still, these divisions are
necessary to ensure that the business satisfies sociocultural and political
variations among countries and regions.

  1. Started by Mark Zuckerberg in 2004, as FaceMash then it was changed to TheFacebook and, eventually dropping "the" from its name, to Facebook. Zuckerberg Founded it at Harvard Dorm Room along with fellow Harvard College students and launched the service for their classmates, quickly expanding the service across other Ivy League institutions and then farther afield to other schools.
  2. The world of technology is just as competitive as it is innovative. Inside those tech companies, the work pressure can be very high and so HR needs to be innovative and smart in its approach. A young and aggressive brand.leaves impression that Facebook leaves is that of a young brand in the making which is aggressive, energetic, passionate and hot; all at the same time. It feels more like a teenager trying to make a tough and sharp point. Technology environments can be full of pressure and managing your people is not just compulsory but can help you achieve an advantage. One of the most important function of HR is they provide Managing your human capital requires focusing on several things from salaries to perks and a respectful environment. In some regards Facebook’s and Google’s strategies are similar. Both are driven by the strategy to create highest satisfaction for their employees. Free food with great variety Facebook takes care of its employees’ taste and has made available a large menu with higher variety. Being a young company, the menu at Facebook is designed as per the taste of its employees. A large variety of ice creams, cookies, and other milk products and other kind of food including barbecue is available for the workers to tingle their taste buds.
