To create a timeline on TimeToast, you first need to sign up for a free account. You can then add a new timeline by entering a title and optional image or category. Events are added by clicking "Add Event" and including a date, which may not always be necessary. Over time, as more events are added, the timeline comes together with information displayed by hovering over dots. While dates show the time period of events, they are not always essential for the type of timelines being created.

2. Firstly…
• In order to create a timeline on TimeToast you must
first make an account with them.
• No hassle
• Sign up for FREE

3. How to setup
• Go to your dashboard and Add a new timeline
You will then be redirected to a page
that looks like the picture on the left
hand side.
Enter the title you want to call your
timeline and whether you want an
image or a category is optional

4. By clicking “Add Event” you will then
see this. This is what you will use to
create the timestamp. You must add
a date onto the event which I
personally did not like because for
the timeline I wanted to create, dates
were not necessary

5. Eventually after adding more and more
events your timeline should look like this. If
you move your mouse over the dots the
information you had inputted will then
show
Overall the only thing I don’t
particularly like is the use of time
periods as for what I wanted to use
it for did not need dates
