OPTIMIZATION (SEO)
 SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting
traffic from the free organic editorial or natural search results on search
engines.
 It is a set of rules that can be followed by website owners to optimize their
website for search engine and thus improve their search engine ranking.

 It refers to the technique that can be used to improve the position of
a website in the search engine result page.
 Off page SEO is about building backlinks of your website via
different link building techniques such as guest posting, directory
submission, social book marking etc.
 Off page SEO focuses on increasing the authority of your domain
through the act of getting links from other websites.
BENEFITS OF OFF PAGE SEO
 Increase in ranking:- the website will rank higher in the SERPS and
this also mean more traffic.
 Increase in page rank:- page rank is a number between 0 and 10
which indicates the importance of a websites in the eyes of Google.
 More exposure:- higher ranking also means greater exposure
because when a website ranks in the top position. it gets more
links, more visits and more social media mentions.
ON PAGE SEO
 It is the practice of optimizing individual web pages in order to
rank higher and earn more relevant traffic in search engines.
 On page refers to both the content and HTML source code of a
page.
 It is the stuff that you have control over and can change on your
own website.
 It is the science of optimizing the content of a website such that it
becomes friendlier to the search engines.

 White hat SEO is the search engine optimization tactics designed to
increase the website position on a search engine result page.
 It is more frequently used by those who intend to make a long term
investment on their websites. It is also called Ethical SEO.
 White hat SEO techniques include creating unique, high quality
website content and providing links to other relevant content on the
site.
 It also focuses on improvement of search performance which
ultimately leads to credibility and ranking .
BLACK HAT SEO
 Black hat SEO may also be referred to as unethical SEO.
 Black hat SEO can possibly result in your website being banned
from a search engine.
 It is used by those who are looking for a quick financial return on
their website rather than a long term investment on their website.
 It is the set of practice that are used to increase a site or page rank
in search engine.

 In 2016, the U.S. alone 10 billion people spent time in search engine
optimization.
 In 2017, There are 13 million blog posts floating around the internet with
the word SEO included in the title.
 In 2018, There are 100 billion global searches being conducted each
