This document describes two techniques for extracting gasoline from unconventional sources - seawater and fresh water/air. The US Navy has developed a technique to produce synthetic fuel by combining seawater and nuclear power in a chemical reactor originally developed in 1925. This allows Navy ships and aircraft to be independent of fuel tankers. A second technique uses fresh water and air as inputs to also produce synthetic gasoline, making fuel production possible anywhere. The document discusses both techniques in detail and their potential impacts and applications.
