With the introduction of 5G, computational resources that were previously available only at both ends of the network between the device and the cloud can now also exist within the network. We have proposed a platform that enables efficient systems construction that includes various computational resources within the network. We are now introducing Local 5G facilities to test this platform. The local 5G facilities required a large budget for the overall project. For this reason, it was necessary to deploy the equipment at the lowest possible cost. We showed an introduction at the 18th Interregional Intercloud Workshop. In this presentation, we describe how we tried to keep the budget low, the results of the procurement, and the current operation. Written in Japanese.

We have installed a Nerves based computer for small hydropower plant as a part of their control system. This presentation describes our activities about this work.
We adopt Nerves, an IoT framework of Elixir language, to a small hydropower plant in Nagano prefecture. We first developed Nerves machines for industrial use with the open source from BeagleBone. Also, we developed system software for the plant with Nerves in Elixir.

Title: Elixir is a good choice for industrial applications.
This presentation gives my experience of applying Elixir language to Small Hydro Power stations and a plan to implement a distributed functional programing platform for industrial use with 5G mobile networks.
Beyohndo Project is a research activity to build a programming framework on 5G and local 5G networks. This slide presents the motivation and plan of the project. The project is a WIP and the slide is written in Japansese.
Applying Elixir to FA: A Study of Small Hydropower Palnt SystemsYutaka Kikuchi
We built a system for a small hydroelectric power plant with Nerves, an IoT platform in the Elixir language. In this case, we built not only the software but also the dedicated hardware, and released it as open source hardware and software for a low-voltage small hydroelectric power plant system. Through this experience, we will discuss the evaluation of Elixir and Nerves based on the functional paradigm for industrial applications.

The author proposed a concept of `scale-sensitive' that supports society in rural areas. This slide shows the background of the concept and how we put it on the areas around country hills. This slide is written in Japanese.
This slide describes a new technology to enable 4 octet ASN of BGP4. Note that this is written in 2007 so some information might be obsolete. Written in Japanese.
This slides shows a plan to disclose the FA related technology with Elixir used in an online meetup titled Elixir Digitalization Implementors #4. Written in Japanese.
This slide proposes that every device should have a unique ID and API so that software engineers can work in FA as well. In this article, I tried to make a relay with API in Nerves as a demo.

This shows practices of the regulation system of small hydro power plant with small IoT boxes. Moreover it discuss about IoT systems with clouds will replace traditional FA systems.
Anyway folks! Let's get started with your Nerves machines.Yutaka Kikuchi
This set of slides describes how to start up Nerves on your raspberry PI zero. The author ha used this at an online event of the community of embedded systems named Algyan on 10th July 2020. See the pages ``https://algyan.connpass.com/event/180192/'' in detail.

This slide shows an activity named Exineris by kochi.ex. We have been trying to deploy our Nerves/Elixir system into FA fields especially small hydro power plant.
Modernization of Factory Automation with Elixir based systems and communitiesYutaka Kikuchi
We have been developing FA/SCADA system with Nerves that is a platform of IoT with Elixir language. This is an interim report of our project. It shows how to abstract hardware devices with Elixir processes and Erlang registration method.
