This document provides instructions for creating a matching gifts request through Hershey's matching gifts program. It outlines how to create an account, log in from different devices, and submit a matching gifts request. The key steps to submitting a request are to save your donation receipt electronically, log into the matching gifts portal, search for and select the nonprofit, enter your donation details and amount requested to be matched, attach your receipt file, and submit the form. 1. Go to http://csr.hersheys.com
2. Update your profile and click Submit at the bottom
3. Click on the Give tab to get started

How to log in from home/another computer through Hershey’s
Network
1. Go to http://csr.hersheys.com
2. Click the “Sign in with SSO here” button at the bottom
3. Enter your Hershey email address and click “Sign On”
4. Log onto Hershey’s Network with your Hershey Username and
Password and click “Login”
5. Update your profile and click Submit at the bottom
6. Click on the Give tab to get started

5. Instructions for Login for Retirees
1) Go to http://csr.hersheys.com
2) Click on the link at the top: “New to e-portal? Click here to
setup your account.”
3) Enter your 8-character User ID in the Employee Number
box. This is your birth month and day, and the last 4 digits of
your Social Security Number. Use leading zeros if the birth
month and/or day is single digit. (Example: September 1st
would be 0901). If you were born on September 1st and your
Social Security Number is 123-45-6789, then your User ID
would be 09016789.
4) You will be prompted to update your profile. Complete all
the required fields and click “Submit” at the bottom of the
page.
5) You will receive an email with your new temporary
password which you can update after you log in. A link to the
site will be provided within the email.

6. Instructions for Login for Hourly Employees without a
Hershey Email
1. Go to http://csr.hersheys.com
2. Click on the link at the top: “New to e-portal? Click
here to setup your account.”
3. Enter your Employee Number in the Employee
Number box.
4. You will be prompted to update your profile. Complete
all the required fields and click “Submit” at the bottom of
the page.
5. You will receive an email with your new temporary

9. • Next, open up your web browser to http://csr.hersheys.com.
• If you’re automatically logged in, continue to the next page of instructions. If you’re not automatically
logged in, enter your Email Address and Password.
• Note: If you have issues, make sure your internet browser is Google Chrome, Internet Explorer
version 10 or later, or Firefox. The site will have links to download an updated browser if you need
it

10. • Click on “Give”

11. • Click on “Matching Gift Request Form”

12. • Scroll down to “Search Orgs” and enter 237120381 (or simply “Grace”) in the first field, and
Hummelstown in the second field (as per the image below)
• Click “Search”

13. • Press “Select”
• Note: As per the below, there may be more than one option. It doesn’t appear to matter which
you choose. To be safe, select the second choice (with both the United Way and the government
logo)

14. • Select “I donated directly to the Charity/Non-Profit and have my receipt”
• Enter your total “Donation Amount” (if you made more than one donation, enter the total amount)
• Enter your “Match Amount” (how much you would like Hershey to match, up to $5,000)
• Enter the “Date of Gift” (if you made more than one donation, enter the date of the last donation)
• Choose “Gift Type” (if you’re uncertain, choose “General Donation”)

15. • Click on “Choose File”
• Navigate to the location of your receipt file on your computer
• See page 8 if you don’t have a receipt

16. • Enter your name in “How do you wish to be recognized?”
• Click on the certification box
• Click on “Submit Form”
