This slide consists a guideline to extend wifi network range without using cables. WDS is a feature to facilitate internet users to move around and enjoy freedom of access. Only 3 simple steps increase your wifi network range up to double of your existing range.

1. CONNECT TWO WIRELESS
ROUTERS TO INCREASE
WI-FI RANGE

2. REPLACE EXISTING 5dbm ANTENNA
WITH 9dbm ANTENNA

4. CONFIGURE OLD ROUTER AS WDS CLIENT

• BOTH ROUTER MUST BE IN
SAME IP RANGE
• DISABLE DHCP SERVER ON
THE SECONDARY ROUTER
• ENABLE WDS ON ANY
ROUTER, PREFERABLY
PRIMARY ROUTER.
