2. Did you know....
Most pictures, unless compressed, may be up to several
megabytes of file size each in their native format?
Why compress pictures?
Compressed pictures take up less space on the server when stored.
Compressed pictures (especially several at a time) send through email
easier.
Compressed pictures or documents containing compressed pictures that
are sent through email can be downloaded by recipients more quickly.
ISO documents that include native file size pictures (uncompressed)
become more cumbersome (even impossible) to store, edit, route, and
manage than documents created with compressed pictures.
For these reasons, we would ask that you choose to compress
pictures when it makes sense.
