1. How to apply for an Income-Driven Repayment Plan

2. To get started, head
over to
studentloans.gov

3. Click “Log In”

4. Click “Log In”

7. You are now logged in!

Next, Click
“Complete Income-Driven
Repayment Plan Request”

9. Click “Log In”

10. Select “I am requesting a
repayment plan based on
my income”

11. Next, fill out your address
and contact information

to check any of the boxes
that apply in the “Spouse
Information” section

14. Once you have completed
these steps,
hit “Continue”

stating that you are now
accessing the IRS website

30. Once you’ve selected the plan
you want, scroll down and
select “Continue”

Conditions

33. Next, you’ll be prompted to
review all of the information
that you’ve entered

34. Once you’re satisfied that all of
your information is correct,
certify the request by clicking
here

35. Then enter your name and click
Sign & Submit to complete the
process

36. Upon submitting, you’ll
receive a verification email
from the Department of Ed
