A storm quickly developed with rain, thunder and lightning. Warm, moist air rising and meeting cold, dry air caused clouds and lightning to form. The air movement sped up vertically, and horizontal winds from different directions formed a vortex, creating a funnel-shaped cloud reaching toward the ground.
