Traffic pattern based content leakage detection for trusted content delivery networks
Due to the increasing popularity of multimedia streaming applications and services in recent years, the issue of trusted video delivery to prevent undesirable content-leakage has, indeed, become critical. While preserving user privacy, conventional systems have addressed this issue by proposing methods based on the observation of streamed traffic throughout the network.

#LSCon: The Missing Link - Data Interoperability From Learning Systems to Ope...Float
SCORM, the xAPI, cmi5, and a host of other learning data standards exist and have widespread acceptance in the learning community. How can these standards extend beyond the learning world into the realm of enterprise technology? What the industry needs now is a distinct and real conversation on how to align learning technology with the technology used by the rest of the enterprise.
In this deck, mobile author Chad Udell shows how Float, working with a number of industry and government stakeholders, has charted a path to bring the worlds of enterprise technology infrastructure into sync with learning ecosystems. The learning industry has had some transformation lately with the xAPI, cmi5 and a variety of cloud LMS vendors coming online. Neither of these technology realms currently talk to each other in most organizations. You’ll explore why this is, what problems it causes, and what advances in business could be gained if this issue was solved.
In this deck, you will learn:
- About the challenges of data interoperability
- How to handle the coming data avalanche and its implications for your organization
- Where learning and enterprise technology often gap or disconnect
- What the next steps in bringing enterprise technology and learning technology integration are
Beyond Personalisation: The Customer Conversation with SitecoreSitecore

Building an Inclusive Magento CommunitySherrie Rohde
Together, the Magento community organizes events in over 30 countries around the globe. There are certified Magento Developers and Solution Specialists on six out of seven continents. As ecommerce professionals, we have many roles and responsibilities including, but not limited to, developers, marketers, merchandisers, designers, analysts, and customer support specialists. While we can’t agree on which operating system is the best for our multiple devices, we can agree that diversity plays an important role in technology and innovation. How then can we, as a community, and as individuals, work together to build an inclusive Magento community?
How to Avoid Burnout while Contributing #mm18plSherrie Rohde
We have an incredibly active contributor base in the Magento community. It's important to know how to take steps to avoid burnout while participating. Here are some suggestions.
A field of Meetups: If you don't build it, where will they go?Sherrie Rohde
You’ve likely heard the famously misquoted quote “If you build it, they will come.” While this may work for a ghost-ridden roster of baseball players—the reality is, most of us know that “building it” isn’t enough on its own. Enabling your community to show up also takes hard work and proper processes. The question is: if we don’t build it, where will they go?
Magento Meetups take place in over 30 countries around the world. The community has planted and grown these events since 2009, but once Magento started to reach out and support Meetup Organizers, the growth really took off—at a rate of 75%. Let’s take a look at what you can do to build and scale A Field of Meetups.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:
