HOW DID YOU
ADDRESS
YOUR
AUDIENCE?
MISE EN SCENE
 We worked our costumes around our audience. As they are of
C2DE socio-economic background, they are most likely lower
paid, white collar workers, of which so were our characters.
 Our audience picked up on this in question 5, do you think the
mise en scene was appropriate for the genre?
 He states that due to the costumes, he can tell what
background they are and what job they do.
MISE EN SCENE
 However, some instances could have been improved, namely
the setting. I feel that perhaps the setting didn’t reflect who
the characters were and they would have been more suited to
a smaller area with more props aimed toward men. There
shouldn’t have been footage of the child’s toys in the garden
or pictures of family.
MISE EN SCENE
 There were further issues that was brought up in our audience
feedback in question 2, what would you improve on our
opening sequence?
 It was said that it was very male centric and could have been
bettered with the inclusion of more female characters.
 Although this was feedback we received, we’ve chosen to
ignore it as our target audience are men and we feel that
keeps up with the action of our sequence.
PACE
 As our psychographic profile for our target audience is
explorer, we tried tailoring our film to how best they could
experience a new movie.

 As it states above, they’re interested in sensation and instant
ef fect, both of which I believe we deliver as the action starts
within a minute and it is both visually and audibly stimulating.
