Millennials, born between 1982-1999, make up a large portion of the current workforce and are looking to advance their careers quickly. Research shows that millennials are driving changes in the workplace by pushing for better pay, benefits, and work environments. Specifically, millennials are changing jobs more frequently, staying at companies for only about two years on average, in search of higher salaries and perks that align with their values like good health insurance, paid time off, and 401k matching. They also seek frequent communication and feedback from managers, as well as collaborative work settings with clear expectations and goals.
