- Wander alarm systems may be as simple or as complex as you want them to be. With truly integrated wander prevention solutions, your managers can see exactly which staff member responded to every event while caregivers have the convenience of receiving notifications of which door and exactly which resident is eloping to help respond quicker to emergency situations. - Stop installing large ugly Enterphone style front entrance intercom units. Todays’ smaller IP video intercom solutions offer more features in a smaller, more cost effective and compact package. These newer devices support full video intercom and conferencing with advanced capabilities such as integrated RFID door access card readers that eliminate the need for a separate proximity card reader at the door and the ability fro the panoramic camera to be viewed and recorded by your video surveillance system.
- Ascom’s new Telecare IP personal transmitter is the ideal wearable device for residents and staff alike. These versatile devices may be worn on a wrist band or with a lanyard attachment and are fully customizable with various different colored buttons and bands. The same wearable that a resident uses to summon help may also be sued for wander prevention (by adding a simple band anti-removal rivet). Unlike most other wander prevention systems, these wander transmitters have replaceable batteries while still maintain their water rating. These are fully submersible and rugged. Staff can use them for panic duress, to sumon assitance or to cancel & escort resident tags through protected doorways.
- Ascom’s Telecare IP UL2560 listed emergency call solution may also be enhanced with traditional nurse call system options such as wired call stations with 2-way audio and room indicator dome lights. Telecare IP is one of the only systems available that supports both wired and wireless nurse call devices making this a very versatile single solution for all of your requirements.
- Bed exit, fall prevention, smoke detectors, water leak sensors or even temperature/humidity sensors may all be directly interfaced with an Ascom telecare IP emergency call solution. By leveraging the Telecare IP universal input modules, you may easily connect virtually any sensing device completely wirelessly. This helps prevent cord breakage and makes installations much easier and quicker.

- Almost all ‘dementia monitoring’ systems require dedicated controllers and sensors. Alarms from these systems may be interfaced with the nurse call system to alert to on-site caregivers. With Telecare IP there is no need for a separate system; by simply adding Telecare IP wireless motion and input sensors, the system may be configured for memory care monitoring of some or all residents within a facility. Telecare IP offers flexible timed schedules and configurable resident profiles that allow a facility to only monitor the residents that need it.
