This document describes the fabrication of a U-type, L-type, and V-type angle bending machine. The purpose of the machine is to bend bar stock into the required shapes using a crank and slide mechanism. Previous machines used pneumatic systems to bend materials vertically, which caused issues like air leakage reducing efficiency. The new design uses a crank mechanism to move the tool horizontally, avoiding having the full weight of the tool acting on the workpiece. This reduces damage to the workpiece and extends its life. The experimental procedure uses an AC power supply, electric motor, crank mechanism, and tool to bend the workpiece into the required shape. The project aims to develop a machine that can perform various bending operations

2. ABSTRACT:-
The purpose of the machine is to bend the required shape of the bar by using crank
and slide mechanism. Now a days, the bending machine is operated the tool in the
direction of vertical. In this method, the whole weight of the bending tool is act on
the work piece (or) bar. So, the work material life is reduced and sometimes the
work material is to be damaged. In our project , the movement of the bending tool is
operated in horizontally. So the weight of the tool is not fully affected in work piece.
So the life of the work piece is should not be reduced and attained the required
shape of the work material
4. In previous method, pneumatic system used to bending the work material at the vertical
direction.
In this type of machine, air leakages will reduce the efficiency of the machine.
It requires compressed air only.
In vertical direction machine load and the gravity will acts on the work piece so the
workpiece will be damaged or collapsed the structure.
6. In our project, Crank mechanism used to operate the tool.
The tool is moves at the direction of horizontal.
So, the gravity force not fully affected the workpiece.
The workpiece life cannot be reduced.

Since concepts involved in our project is entirely different that a single unit is used to various

By doing this project we gained the knowledge of working system and how automation can be
effectively done with the help of electrical system.
