Traveling:
      •    Set an automatic timer for your lights.
      •    Ask a neighbor to watch your home, shovel walks, pick up mail, and
           park in the driveway from time to time.
      •    Keep gifts out of sight while you are gone.
      •    Lock all doors and windows.

Shopping:
  •       Carry your purse close to your body.
  •       Don’t carry large amounts of cash.
  •       Park in well lighted areas as close to the store as possible.
  •       Lock your car doors.
  •       Hide your packages in the trunk or under the seat.


At home:
  •       Keep a close eye on
  •       Turn on outside lights to deter burglars.
  •       Report suspicious behavior to police immediately.
  •       Lock all doors and windows.
