First, define the goals to achieve that will provide a
solution to the task by defining who the task is most
important to.
Students will be using the lockers, and the school will be paying
for the lockers. To best solution will suit the needs of the
students and the school; there should be enough quality lockers
for every student, and they should be as inexpensive as possible
for the school.
Form and test ideas of possible setups
and designs of lockers.
Design sturdy lockers with the maximum volume that the school has space
to provide, and design them to be as inexpensive to construct as possible.
After enough tests have been conducted to
determine which solution is best for the people
it is relevant to, implement the solution and be
ready to go back to the drawing board.
