This document summarizes research on suppressing antiferromagnetism in USb2 through the application of high magnetic fields. Magnetostriction and magnetization measurements were used to map out the field-temperature phase diagram. Both techniques showed that the antiferromagnetic transition temperature is suppressed with increasing field. The phase boundaries matched between the two measurement methods. Questions remain about the high-field, low-temperature magnetic state. Future work includes quantum oscillation measurements and experiments on other UX2 compounds.
