children.
To inculcate the importance of education among the
poor sections of the society and encourage them to
send their kids to school.
To promote good health.
4. Who we are
Sponsors: Individuals who donate to the organization
to help the needy.
Volunteers: Individuals who take time out of their lives
to help the needy.
8. Highlights till date
Provided 43 children the gift of education.
Started teaching mission where volunteers teach
children. 142 teaching days successfully completed till
date.
Working on a project to provide clean drinking water
to a government school in Hyderabad.
Donated wheel chairs to an old age home.
Distributed blankets to the homeless.
Distributed food as a part of no more starving
campaign.
9. Finance - Accountability
Every month an excel sheet is published and shared
within the members of the organization that contains
details of expenses.
Receipts corresponding to the expenses are also
published.
Each sponsor is given an account of the children they
are sponsoring.
Expenditure is transparent and all the members can
view it.
11. College Savings Plan
All the young kids receiving education now will need
to go to college in a few years and the education they
get will be most helpful if they earn a graduate degree.
Keeping this in mind, I propose keeping a small
amount of money aside every time a donation is made
so that the sponsor does not feel burdened with the fee
of college later on.
This money can also be used for emergency purposes.
