This Encompassed marketing, building and setting up of networks for companies. 1994 – 1998 Unicell N1 City Mall Goodwood Manager / Owner (Cellular Phones) • Recruited, trained and motivated (via Incentives) a sales workforce of 25 as well as 5 office employees. • Established and managed 2 new branches. • A market survey was done and a potential of 50 lines per month was predicted. This potential was exceeded by 150 lines per month, in a short space of time, which ensured that we received the MTN National Dealer award for 2 consecutive years. 1993 – 1997 Universal Airbrakes Bellville Manager / Owner • Identified that there was a gap in the market for a 24 hour airbrake service and established Universal Airbrakes. • Recruited and managed a staff compliment of 10 airbrake technicians, 2 sales representatives and an administrative assistant. • Developed a large client base such as Auto Net, SFW and OK Bazaars and maintained their fleets. • Identified that communication was essential for the trucking industry, Cellular phones where brought into Universal Airbrakes
