Accidents can be known as the unplanned event or the mistake that may occur causing in injury and sometimes it also leads to death. The accidents in case of two wheelers are more related to other vehicles. This may be avoided by wearing helmets and riding vehicles without consuming liquor. Since this survey is on smart helmet for accidence prevention and also we examining various related techniques. This research also helps us to understand IOT technology which is being developed now a days. Smart Helmet is the intelligent system that detects automatically whether the person is wearing the helmet and has nonalcoholic breath while driving. Here we have a transmitter on the helmet and the receiver on the bike. There is a switch used to assured the wearing of helmet on the head. The ON condition of the switch ensures the placing of the helmet in proper way. An alcohol sensor is placed near the mouth, the engine shouldn’t ON if any condition is violated, when the rider met with an accident and the helmet hits the ground then sensor sense and give the information to main controller it will activate the GSM Module which automatically sends the message to the family member.
By use of the smart helmet, road accidents can be detected. In this system, the main target is to design a helmet which can detect alcohol consumption and force the rider to wear helmet while riding. Another feature this project provides is intercom availability. This feature will provide a way of connectivity between groups of people travelling together.

In India, the majority don’t own cars and other expensive vehicles for their utility. Hence, a vast percentage of our country owns 2 wheelers. Most of them don’t have that much space in their house as well as in working places to park their vehicle. So, there is always a threat for them, of vehicle theft and damage. Also a major part of road accidents happening in India includes 2 wheelers that don’t have any safety measures; the people involved in road accidents suffer death. So, we felt the need of safety system that should be of low cost and can be easily installed on any 2 wheeler for their protection & safety. We propose this low cost system which will make sure that the vehicle don’t get theft and the accident victim gets medical assistance as soon as possible, thereby increasing the chances of his survival.The 2 wheeler is password encrypted that is used to turn on the ignition system (kill switch) of the vehicle. Also, the system is equipped with the GSM & GPS/GPRS module ( via the Internet ) that maintain the vehicle in constant touch with the owner of the vehicle, this module gets turn on when anyone tries to steal the vehicle. Also in the advent of an accident, the system detects the same using its sensors and it immediately sends text to the numbers that has been fed in the GSM module and also provides his relatives the information of exact location regarding the accident using the GPS tracking. The friends and relatives then confirm that accident is actually happened, after it has been confirmed, they can file an emergency request at the nearby police station and ambulance so that victim could be diagnosed as early as possible. This system is also helpful in case of other emergencies not involving accidents but also like robberies.

Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.
2. Many people don’t realize that helmets prevent skull fractures, not concussions, which are
brain injuries. A high technology sensor is available in the market, we used and develops a
range of Shock Box Sensors to alert parents/friends or coaches that an “at-risk” hit has
occurred, so concussion checks and protocols start as early as possible.
We are using GPS module to locate the position of rider on the two-wheeler with high
accuracy positioning
and also GSM module is used for autonomous communication to notify the position.
As we see many accidents in the day to day life due to alcohol consumption so we are trying
to implement alcohol sensors within the helmet. Since too much use of the helmet internal
temperature rises which is not comfortable for the rider, hence we make use of exhaust fan
to maintain the temperature.
5. Features
It will send a message of location automatically when he/she met
an accident with helmet on.
RF transmitter and receiver are used for starting the two wheeler,
if she/he is not wearing the helmet, the two-wheeler will not start.
The alcohol sensor is used to sense the alcohol consumption and
it will lock the ignition if drunk.
It will automatically switch on air fan inside helmet when the
temperature is high.
The solar cell is generating power for the system.
It can be tracked easily with location when two-wheeler is stolen.
7. Applications
It can be used in real time safety system.
We can implement the whole circuit into small
module later.
Less power consuming safety system.
This safety system technology can further be
enhanced into four wheeler also by replacing the
helmet with seat belt.
