economic growth. Foreign direct investment (FDI) has facilitated capital inflows into India from other countries which have helped to improve
infrastructure development and create more job opportunities in various sectors such as manufacturing industries. Moreover, globalization provides
access to new technologies that are essential for improving productivity levels in different industries. By adopting advanced technologies like
automation or robotics processes in production lines or service delivery sectors helps reduce time consumption by employees while increasing
efficiency at work. Another advantage is expansion international trades which leads to job creation. Globalization allows for increased exports and

Despite these benefits accruable from globalization; it also has some downsides impacting negatively on local communities or businesses within

western influences brought about by multinational corporations who exploit cheap labor resources while pushing their products forward within
traditional societies with different cultures. Lastly dependency on foreign companies may lead to exploitation whereby governments can be forced
into making industry-related policies based solely out-of favoritism towards specific multinational corporates over local ones. Challenges Faced By

global connectivity, India faces competition from other countries in terms of exports and imports. This competition can impact negatively on the
Indian economy as it must adapt to remain competitive by improving efficiency or adopting new technologies. 4 Another challenge faced is the need
for a skilled labor force that can deal with modern challenges requiring cutting-edge knowledge such as technological innovations in industrial
sectors. Environmental concerns due to increased industrialization is a significant challenge facing India's economy. The increasing number of
manufacturing industries necessitated by globalization has resulted in harmful effects such as environmental pollution which impacts negatively on
society and the environment at large. Conclusion In conclusion, globalization has both advantages and disadvantages impacting differently across
various sectors of the Indian economy. The government should focus policies on reducing income inequality through investment in education and
developing infrastructure while maintaining our traditional cultural values. Furthermore, policymakers should work towards creating an enabling
