David C. Hedlund is running for President of the United States. He believes illegal immigration has endangered national security and burdened social systems, and proposes building a ship canal from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico to address this issue. The canal would be deep enough to prevent tunnels, supply new water to the Southwest, create jobs and commerce, and reduce drug trafficking.
