5. A message from the Chief Executive Officer, Mary Frances Barrett October 2010 It’s my great privilege to thank all of our sponsors, contributors, staff, and the Board of Directors for your generous support of the Hebrew Hospital Home Foundation 6th Annual Golf Event. It is becoming increasingly more difficult to provide outstanding care to our residents and participants in our community based programs due to both shortages in sufficient nursing personnel as well as cutbacks by the Federal and State governments. However, with every challenge we face comes the opportunity for creativity and leadership. We are indeed fortunate that we have both. It is an extremely difficult road ahead for the entire healthcare industry, but the Hebrew Hospital Home Continuum of Care is poised to be a leader in the 21st century. The Golf Outing is one vision that has come to fruition and will continue to grow through the years with your support. The funds raised from this golf outing go directly to fund the programs and services we provide for the members of our Continuum of Care. The Hebrew Hospital Home has made a reputation for itself as the premier health care provider in our various communities. Fortunately, we have also been blessed with a creative, dedicated and devoted staff without whose efforts we would not be able to accomplish our goals. Therefore, to all my colleagues a much-deserved “thank you” and to all our supporters we hope you enjoy the day and will return in the future to once again support the Hebrew Hospital Home Continuum of Care.
