Steve Jobs gave a commencement speech sharing three stories from his life:
1) He dropped out of college but later took a calligraphy class that influenced Macintosh's beautiful typography.
2) He was fired from Apple but it allowed him to start Pixar and NeXT, and later return to Apple.
3) He was diagnosed with cancer but continued following his passion until his death, reminding students to pursue what they love and not settle for less.
Reflective dairy - personal project
The document summarizes a student's 6-week personal project to create a pixel game. In week 1, the student chose to make a pixel game over a short film or poster. They created mood boards and backstories for potential games. In week 2, the student researched other pixel games and gathered feedback through surveys and interviews. In week 3, the student experimented with characters, backgrounds, and pixel animations. Weeks 4-5 involved planning through proposals, style sheets, and scene boards. In the final week 6, the student began production by organizing sprites and animating on separate layers, which allowed for a smooth process despite limited pixels.

Senior Project Speech
Allison Albee created advertisements for the Humane Society as her senior project. She researched effective advertising techniques and found that targeting specific audiences is key. Albee filmed a dog adoption commercial and designed print ads featuring dogs. During editing, she overcame challenges like a bright green screen and used tools like Photoshop's cloning tool. Overall, Albee enjoyed the filming and editing aspects most and wants to pursue a career in media arts.
Initial Plans
Georgina Whiteley initially considered doing a print-based art exhibit for her final major project that focused on portraiture or equine art. However, she was unsure of this idea and lacked motivation. During her rotations, she considered animation or film projects but remained undecided. As the project deadline approached, Georgina realized she should pursue something she was passionate about, like horror films. She began developing ideas for a short found footage horror film shot in a documentary style that follows friends on a hike in the woods as they mysteriously disappear one by one. Georgina planned to use techniques like shifting colors and camerawork to build tension throughout the film.

3) An early cancer diagnosis reminded him to follow his passion and intuition, not others' opinions. Death shows what's important - living a life true to yourself. His wish for graduates: stay hungry, stay foolish.
2. proposal

- 8. Walk Through the Struggle You have to choose which path you want: either stay closed minded and walk towards a closed door, or open your mindset and have endless possibilities.

- 10. I was still trying. But didn’t give it full effort because I was closed minded at the time.
- 11. Final Art After opening my mind to the art and putting in hours a night I was able to achieve these results.

- 14. I have been putting in hours of trying to increase my modeling which is something I was close minded to in the beginning.
- 15. Inspirations Childhood games which Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite RPG to date. Chrono Trigger was one that I played on the Super Nintendo when I was a kid.
- 16. I still remember waking up on Saturday mornings at my grandparents house, watching these cartoons with a cup of coffee.
- 17. I was amazed with what was produced in this movie, after being a fan of the game.
- 18. I collected comics when I was a kid. I always had a passion for Marvel.

- 21. That’s how inspired I was from the cartoons.
- 23. When the first Transformers came out in 2007 my hope was answered, that the cartoon would turn into live action film. That’s when I knew I wanted to pursue this career.
