your kidney stones.
13. Small kidney stones may pass out in the urine just
by increasing your fluid intake to flush them out.
14. Medical treatment may include the use of
medicines to relax the ureters, thus allowing small
stones to descend and pass out in the urine.
15. Larger stones may be removed by using different
procedures such as ureteroscopy, percutaneous
nephrolithotomy, or open surgery.
16. Medications may prevent stones from forming
again, and these include allopurinol, potassium
citrate, hydrochlorothiazide, orthophosphates, and
acetohydroxamic acid.
