infrastructure & development challenges to
deliver new jobs and housing
The deal will generate 20,000+ jobs,
17,420 new homes and
nearly 1m sqm of
extra commercial floor space
over the next 10 years
The first 104 homes
out of a total 1,100 units
are now completed
It’s the first new housing in the area
for over 15 years
There will be a mix of
3&4 bedroom homes
available through Help to Buy
plus a part-exchange scheme
21 new affordable homes are also planned
The development has been awarded a
Built for Life commendation
This shows it has addressed
12 key design issues ensuring that
the new homes & surrounds are
as attractive, functional & sustainable
as possible
It is also a Homezone
scheme, signalling its
focus on well-designed
highways and site layout
