Sea lions live off the western coast of the US, near deep sea caves. They are endangered because killer whales hunt them, and people illegally kill them too. Sea lions are large, 5000 pound vertebrates classified as pinnipeds that eat krill, fish, and squid, and are hunted by killer whales, with their relatives including seals, dolphins and whales.
