5. A SMALL EXCURSION INTO THE HISTORY OF
RELATIONS BETWEEN UKRAINE AND RUSSIA
1654 year.
The main goal of the Moscow authorities was the
complete elimination of Cossack autonomy in the
south of Ukraine, the goal of the Cossack
community was to preserve this autonomy. The
struggle began around 1654, lasted for more than
a century, and ended with the final destruction of
the Zaporizhzhya Sich by the Russian government

6. XX CENTURY:
1917-year, Red terror.
The Red Terror was a Bolshevik-ordered campaign of intimidation, arrests,
violence and executions. It began in mid-1918 following an assassination attempt
on Vladimir Lenin and was carried out chiefly by the Cheka, the Bolshevik secret
police.
The goal of the Bolsheviks in Ukraine was to destroy the so-called The Shot
revival or Red Renaissance - is a spiritual, cultural, literary and artistic generation
of the 20s and 30s. 20th century in the Ukrainian SSR, which produced highly
artistic works in the fields of literature, philosophy, painting, music, theater,
cinema.

7. THE HOLODOMOR (FAMINE) OF 1932-1933
The Holodomor of 1932-1933 was an act of genocide of the Ukrainian people, organized by the leadership of the Communist Party of
Ukraine and the USSR government in 1932-1933 by creating an artificial mass famine. Murder by starvation took place in Ukraine and
the Kuban both before 1933 and in 1932. The difference is only in the scale of the crime. If during 1932 ten thousand people were killed
by hunger, then in 1933 the number reached millions. However, in 1932 and 1933, in Ukraine and the Kuban, unlike other regions of the
USSR, where many people also died from hunger, the famine was an act of genocide, so it was deliberately directed against the Ukrainian
nation as such. The number of people who died of hunger was estimated by some historians at 3.941 million in rural areas on the
territory of the Ukrainian SSR and Kuban, most of whose population was Ukrainians.

The first civilian victim of the Russian invasion of Ukraine was Reshat Ametov. He was kidnapped on March 3, 2014,
at 12:00 from a rally in support of Ukraine, taken by Russian special services to the mountains, where he was
tortured and, mutilated, executed by a shot in the head.

BEEN FIGHTING FOR TRUTH, FREEDOM AND HUMAN
DIGNITY AGAINST LIES, OPPRESSION AND A WORLD OF
VIOLENCE AND LACK OF FREEDOM.
My resolution:
• Awareness of common danger
• Joining efforts
• Conviction of war crimes against humanity
• Prevention of similar aggressions in the future
• Restoration of international law
