11. General results
 All communities requested different language but agreed on symbols
 Few people requested local language be used but we identified this
as an opportunity to include traditional language in all resources
 3 dosing times were recognised by patients (Morning, Midday and
Night)
 Patients did not like the distinction between night/dinner dosing
(6pm dosing time) and night/bedtime dosing time (8pm) unless
there were specific sleepy medications
 The sunrise and sunset pictures were thought to be confusing as
they are fundamentally the same symbol.

16. Changes in practice
 Recognition that one form of DAA labelling and medication
dosing language if not appropriate as each community has
different requirements
 Changes to the way DAAs are labelled
 Changes to the way labelled original packs are dispensed with
pharmacy labels
 Acute medication dosage stickers to ensure consistency of
story
 Educate health workers, nursing staff and GPs as to each
communities request for specific wording and symbols to
represent what each dosing time means
 Encourage other regions and health services to follow this
journey

to ensure not only patients from that
