An interdisciplinary design consultancy
compelled by the question– “What does the
future of learning look like?” We work with
communities to co-create a shared vision for
            learning for tomorrow’s world.

Monday, August 20, 12
We are compelled by the rare opportunity to re-imagine and co-create the

bridge from secondary education to society with the Hamilton

Southeastern School District and Fishers community.

At this crucial crossroads, we see a chance to create a dynamic local

solution while prototyping compelling practices at a national scale. As your

design partners, we look forward to building a platform for you that honors

the deep traditions and core values of Hamilton Southeastern Schools,

while catalyzing 21st century vision, programs, and partnerships. The

resulting signature experience that will act as both a culmination and

            commencement for your student community.

WHAT WE’RE ASKING OURSELVES AS A
        DISTRICT, COMMUNITY, AND DESIGN TEAM:

What will the Academies accomplish for
          the Hamilton Southeastern district?

          What defines the Academy experience?

How can we best unleash the full
          potential of our students?

Monday, August 20, 12
“The exciting piece of this is it’s
         not just ‘hey, we’re building
         classrooms,’ it’s ‘we’re building
         classrooms that bring new
         opportunities’…

         Place and ideology play
         together.”

         MATT KEGLEY
         PRINCIPAL, HAMILTON SOUTHEASTERN HS

Monday, August 20, 12
“The academies will no doubt
force us to look at high school
         differently,
which is certainly healthy. And force us
to look at instruction differently, which is
also healthy. And for the whole
         community to consider new post-
         secondary options.”

         JASON URBAN
         PRINCIPAL, FISHERS HS

Monday, August 20, 12
“We’re sometimes hesitant to give the
kids responsibility for fear of what the 1-
                         2% can do…but we’ve got a lot of great
kids. We have a saying: ‘we make
decisions for our teachers based on our
                                                    best teachers.’

                                   We should do that for
                                      students as well.”
