Fran tells his friends Clara and Diego the local legend of a boy named David who committed suicide by jumping from the top of a tower on October 2nd. According to the legend, if someone says David's name 7 times at midnight on Halloween, his ghost will appear and reenact his death by jumping from the tower. Though Diego seems intrigued by the idea of visiting the tower on Halloween, Clara strongly refuses, thinking it's too dangerous.
