Guyana is a country located in northeastern South America, bordered by Brazil, Suriname, and the Atlantic Ocean. It has a diverse landscape that includes tropical rainforests and wetlands. The capital and largest city of Guyana is Georgetown, located on the Atlantic coast. Guyana has a democratic form of government and an economy based around agriculture, fishing, mining, and timber. The population includes people from various ethnic backgrounds including those of African, Indian, Chinese, and European descent.
