This document outlines the curriculum guide for an English class at a middle school for two different grade levels. For the advance level 1 class, students will complete assignments on chapters about life, reality shows, and survival. They will have presentations and activities covering grammar and communication skills. Students will be evaluated based on their portfolio, behavior, homework, and test scores. The advance level 2 class will complete similar writing assignments and have presentations, but their portfolio assignments require longer written pieces on topics like fashion and predictions for the future. Both classes follow the same evaluation breakdown.
