135 diabetics who had become free of medications and passed a Glucose Tolerance Test were recognized at an event in Pune, India. The document provides details on each participant, including their name, age, duration of diabetes, time free of medication, and fasting and 2-hour blood sugar scores on the GTT. All participants had normal or near normal blood sugar levels, demonstrating they no longer require medication to control their diabetes.

2. What is the significance of passing GTT
(Glucose Tolerance Test)?
• For a diabetic it is near impossible to pass GTT!
• As it involves consuming 75 grams of glucose (in simpler
language 15 tsp of sugar) at one go in a fasting state and
bring the 2 hour blood sugar below 140.
• At Freedom from Diabetes, we do this test for our diabetic
participants once they are free of tablets/ insulin for a
minimum of 3 months and Hba1c is 6 or below.
