What is the significance of passing GTT - (Glucose Tolerance Test)? For a diabetic it is near impossible to pass GTT! As it involves consuming 75 grams of glucose (in simpler language 15 tsp of sugar) at one go in a fasting state and bring the 2 hour blood sugar below 140. At Freedom from Diabetes, we do this test for our diabetic participants once they are free of tablets/ insulin for a minimum of 3 months and Hba1c is 6 or below. A celebration happens every year to felicitate these true Freedom Champions… what follows are the details of 2016 GTT Pass!
