This document discusses supporting gender transformative parenting to create more equitable environments for children. It presents core beliefs that gender equality is a human right, but biological differences alone don't justify unequal treatment. Parenting can challenge harmful gender norms and transform power imbalances. The goals are gender equity, equality and improving child and family well-being. Frontline workers will empower parents through awareness of gender issues, improving communication, and addressing practices like gender-based violence. Resource modules will provide information on gender socialization, identity, and responsive parenting for different ages to guide practitioners and parents.
