Group Curriculum
Bullying
Group Focus
The group will be comprisedof elementary grade level students.The groupwill focuson teaching
studentstoidentifytheirfeelingsandlearnalternative copingskills. The goal of the groupisto help
students recognize the triggersandsymptomsof theirnegativefeelingssothattheycan respondto
theminappropriate ways.Thiswill helpthe studentssucceed inthe classroomandoutside of the
classroom.
MissionStatement
The missionof the groupis to provide asafe environmentwhere the studentswill be able toreinforce
whattheyhave alreadylearnedandimplementthe new copingskillslearned.All instructionand
activitieswill be gearedtowards elementary grade level understanding.
Confidentiality
All informationandrecordsobtainedinthe course of the groupshall be keptconfidential unlessthe
followingapply:

Managementstrategy.One studentwillbe the aggressor,the otherone will be the one topractice the
strategy.
