This document discusses the Living Building Challenge certification goals for the Monarch School Studio project. The Monarch School aims to provide an innovative education for students with neurological differences through a therapeutic learning environment. Some key goals for the project include demonstrating leadership in sustainable materials and methods, communicating the true costs and processes of energy, water and resources to students, and increasing outdoor learning opportunities. The project team is working towards Living Building Challenge certification through addressing the petals of site, water, energy, health, materials and equity in the campus design.
