• We, Green Desert and Pro Green Built International, Lda provide quick,
sustainable, and efficient construction methods, using EPS and ICF Technologies.
We offer complete turn key production facilities to manufacture the ICF System
anywhere locally.
• Green Desert is founded and registered in Madeira by Kurt Hirsch, who has 44
years of experience in EPS technology, machinery and Insulated Concrete Form.
• Pro Green Built International, Lda is founded and registered in Madeira by Kurt
Hirsch and Jost Kurth who has 25 years of experience in ICF construction, specially
with the innovative “Pro Form System” which he developed in 1991.
• In every project, we were totally involved from delivering the ICF Technology, the
ICF Production Plant, the Engineering Advisory and the On-Site Support with our
ICF construction experts.
• We delivered also the ROI (Return of Investment) expertise for the Production Plant
and Construction Cost Evaluation.

11.  ICF Building Process
• For design and construction, it’s hard to find an easier system than ICF: hollow
foam blocks or panels are stacked into the shape of the walls of a building.
• The forms are filled with steel-reinforced concrete to form a solid structure,
sandwiching a heavy, high-strength material between two layers of light, high-
insulating EPS foam.
• The resulting walls are air-tight, strong, quiet, highly insulated, pest and fire
resistant, and durable in the face of even the harshest weather.
• The forms can be installed quickly and easily, using common construction tools
and equipment.
• The industry’s wide variety of manufacturers, shapes, and sizes makes it easy to
custom design commercial structures.
• ICFs are commonly used for residential & industrial buildings, hotels, business
parks, government facilities, hospitals, schools, churches, shopping centres, and
warehouses.
