Nike is committed to green building practices and sustainability in its retail stores. It has implemented numerous initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of its stores and achieve LEED certification when possible. These include using recycled and low-VOC materials, energy efficient lighting and HVAC systems, water conservation measures, sustainable flooring like Nike Grind, and alternative transportation incentives for employees. The results have included significant savings in energy and water usage as well as reductions in carbon emissions. Nike aims to continue expanding its sustainability efforts in new areas across all stores.
