7. Based on your views towards the event of road accidents, what do you think and
what would you suggest steps that could be take to avoid and to reduce the
frequent occurrence of road accident which is plaguing our country?
• By installing a new system on the road and set a new regulation for those who are
applying license
• People should concentrate more on the road and less on other distractions. Always
use signals and don't drive too fast. Overtake only when necessary.
• In order to reduce the causes of road accidents. It is advisable for transportation
department to make the examination for license more stricter and harder.. so only
qualify people who able to have their own license. This can actually help to reduce
the road accidents and aware the people why we need to drive safely.
• From my opinion, those who drives past the speed limits are ignorant. Not only are
they prone to accidents, there are very high chances for others to get tangled in the
accidents too. It often makes me think the reasons for them to speed up. Are they in a
hurry? Are they late for something? Their wives about to give birth? If yes, at least
plant in mind the 'consequences' beforehand.
