Master’s Programs
 For those individuals who have completed a
Bachelor’s degree
 GPA greater than 3.00 (“B”) in last 60 credit hours
(higher entrance standards may be set by
individual programs)
 Typically 2 years in length
PhD Programs
 Normally for those individuals who have completed
a Master’s degree
 Must provide evidence of English language
proficiency prior to admission
 GPA greater than 3.33 (“B+”) in last 30 credit hours
(higher entrance standards may be set by individual
programs)
 Requires the completion of a research project
culminating in a dissertation
 Typically 4 years in length
