GPH group chairman Md Jahangir Alam stated that with cooperation between laborers, private entrepreneurs and the government, Bangladesh is moving towards ultimate economic development. GPH group plans to install contemporary manufacturing technology, the first of its kind in Bangladesh, at their factory. The chairman made these remarks while giving performance awards to 36 officials and staff from various sections of the company at an event in Chittagong for their work in helping GPH group become a leader in steel manufacturing with world-class products. Additional Managing Director Almas Shimul hopes the recognition of employees will increase productivity and expand the company's brand in the future.

The laborious workers along with private sector entrepreneurs and with co-operation of the
government, Bangladesh is moving towards the ultimate economic development, said GPH
group chairman Md Jahangir Alam.
GPH group is going to install the first ever contemporary manufacturing technology in
Bangladesh at their factory, he added.
The call was made by the GPH group chairman Md Jahangir Alam in a performance award
giving ceremony of the group at a restaurant of Chittagong on Monday night, a press release
stated.
36 officials and staffs of the company’s various sections have received the award for their
performance in the ceremony as the group remains one of the leaders in manufacturing steel
promises with its world-class products.
Mr Alam emphasized on the knowledge management of officials on Information technology,
contemporary technology management, and up gradation of skills of the company’s human
resources in the programme, said in the press release.
The company’s human resource policy, distribution of dividends among staff and officials, safety
management, group insurance of the staffs were highlighted agenda of the programme, according
to the press statement.
Speaking on the occasion the Additional Managing Director of GPH Group Almas Shimul stated
the GPH family as a team which will contribute to increase productivity of the factory with
collaboration in the future and asked to expand the existing brand image of GPH group. He also
expressed hope that the GPH group will create more job facilities in their factory in the future,
stated in the press statement.
