1. Zion, or the holy hill of Jerusalem, has always been associated with governance and rulership. God established his king on Zion and will send forth his rod of power from Zion to rule over his enemies.
2. The number 12, which is prominent in descriptions of the new Jerusalem, represents God's government. God's law and word will go forth from Zion to judge and govern the nations.
3. A church that possesses and reigns over the various sectors of society, like a governing body or parliament, executes the written judgments of God and endorses new things God wants to do in the city. It has authority over the community.
Trinity and the Kingdom of God - Romania 2019Lars Gunther
We believe God is triune. Creation is the overflow of the lovefest in God. The Kingdom of God is the uniting theme in all the Boble. All creation will be redeemed.
What do the Bible says about the Kingdom of God? Is it something that we will see after we died? Is it something that we can experience while we are alive?
God’s Kingdom is a people who are absolutely submitted to God’s will and agenda! Are there such people in the world today? The bible says in the last days, there must be!
3 points:
1. From 10 commandments - we are meant to be under God's rule
2. From 1 Corinthians - do not allow factions to dominate us
3. Focus on Christ

Girt Your Loins In Truth - Ephesians 6:14aDavid Turner
Paul tells the Ephesian Christians to girt their loans in truth. One's loins is the center of one being. It is the place stability. In a world which runs on the current of popular opinion it's often difficult to discern truth. Is is found in science, or philosophy, or politicians or power. Real truth is found in Jesus Christ who proclaimed, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father accept through me." This is the truth that Paul encourages the Ephesians gird their loins with. It's the same truth we ought to hold tight to our core. What two major effects did the preaching of the Gospel have? (1-7) Why does preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ and His resurrection offend many people, and engender persecution? Should opposition or persecution discourage us from fulfilling the great commission, “to make disciples”? What encouraged Paul to pray for the crippled man? (9) Why aren’t miracles such as the healing of the crippled man characteristic in today’s churches? What was the outcome of the crippled man’s healing? (11-18) Why was Paul stoned at Lystra? (19) How did Paul survive the stoning? (19-20) What does the stoning of Paul (19) remind you of? Did the persecution dampen Paul's zeal for preaching the gospel? (21-28) Why do you think this was so? Describe the Pauline strategy of evangelization and establishing local churches. Compare what you observe of Paul’s strategy with what characterizes most modern missions. Why do you think most mission boards and agencies do not follow the model found in Acts?
2. GOVERNANCE EXECUTED OUT OF ZION
Zion was always associated with governance. When
Zion is first mentioned in 2 Sam.5:7, it is in the context
of a military campaign. Zion was a fortress hill in
Jerusalem. David captured Zion immediately after he
was crowned king. Zion became his stronghold; he
ruled and extended the kingdom from there
Ps 2:6 - I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill. Zion is
always associated with rulership and kingdom
government
Ps 110:2 The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right
hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The
LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies!
3. GOVERNANCE EXECUTED OUT OF ZION
Zion, the holy city/new Jerusalem described in
Revelation 21 has 12 gates, 12 angels at the gates,
twelve foundations, it is 12 000 furlongs in height,
breadth and length, adorned with 12 precious
stones. Twelve is the number of God’s government
Isa 2:4 For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the
word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge
between the nations, And rebuke many people; They
shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their
spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up
sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war
anymore. The nations are governed from Zion
4. GOVERNANCE EXECUTED OUT OF ZION
Isa.2:2/ Mic.4:1 Now it shall come to pass in
the latter days that the mountain of the LORD's
house shall be established on the top of the
mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills
Mt Zion dominates all other mountains. A
church that possesses and reigns over the
various sectors of society
“Ekklesia” – Thayer: “an assembly of the people
(called out from their homes) convened at the
public place of the council for the purpose of
deliberating”
5. HEBREWS 12:23
“general assembly” (NKJV) versus “joyful
assembly” (NIV)
The Greek word is “paneguris”
This word is a combination of two root words:
“pas” – which means all and “agora” which
means “to gather at the town square ”
“General assembly” is by far a more accurate
rendering of the word
6. 1. HAS THE AUTHORIT Y TO EXECUTE THE WRITTEN
JUDGEMENTS OF GOD
Ps 149:5-9 - This Church gathers to declare and
execute the written judgements of God. It no
longer listens to sermons. The MO of this Church
is one of a governing body, a Council, a
parliament and a cour t-house where verdicts are
pronounced and judgements are executed
1. ENDORSES THE NEW THINGS THAT GOD WANTS TO
DO IN THEIR CIT Y
Nothing should be allowed within our jurisdiction
without our endorsement. This church has
oversight over the city. The policies and
legislation for our city should be conceived within
7. 3. CAPACITATES THE PEOPLE FOR THE DIFFERENT
DOMAINS OF THE CIT Y
This Church’s agenda is to possess ever y mountain
of society by training and deploying competent sons
of God
4. LEADS AND DIRECTS THE AFFAIRS OF THE COMMUNIT Y
We must provide leadership for the development of
our city and region. The jurisdiction of the General
Assembly is outside the “four walls” of the church
5. ENLISTS A SELECTION OF MIGHT Y MEN
4. 1 Chron.11:1f – all of Israel covenanted with David
because they knew the Word concerning David. However
only 400 men gave themselves to the process of
establishing his kingdom. Not ever yone who hears will
build. We must choose select ones who will make the
8. When we gather together as His church, everything
we do must be governmental.
The MO of church will be altered when we
apprehend Zion as the General Assembly the MO
Church must become the platform from where we
issue the judgement and decrees of the Lord
Every facet of our ministry experience must be
intentionally utilized for the expression of God’s
government in the earth
For example:
9. Our gatherings
Our worship
Our prayer (church, family, devotional)
Our preaching
Our practices (attitude, activities, associations)
Our programmes - should incorporate training and
development of our members for penetration of the
various sectors of society. We must move them to
possess every mountain (business, politics etc)
