Google Home is Google's voice-controlled smart speaker that competes with the Amazon Echo. It launched in the US in 2016 and in the UK in 2017, featuring a British accent. Google Home is an Chromecast-enabled speaker that allows users to interact with the Google Assistant using voice commands to get information, control smart home devices, and more. It collects user data to personalize ads. While it currently only supports one user at a time, multi-user support may be added in the future.
