Digital natives are typically younger than 25 years old and are comfortable with technology from a young age. Digital immigrants are older, often over 25, and less familiar with new technologies. Digital natives are more likely to ask others for help with technology and grab phones from older users who are frustrated. Digital immigrants want to only learn what they need immediately and would rather figure things out themselves than have a digital native teach them slowly. Both groups can learn from each other, with digital immigrants teaching digital natives the value of learning processes over memorization, and digital natives teaching digital immigrants new technologies.
