I have been teaching in higher education since 2010 and teach Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. I am a National Teaching Fellow and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has been awarded the student-nominated Sheffield Hallam University Inspirational Teaching Award three times. As well as being a teacher, I am also an active researcher. My teaching fosters and develops enquiring minds in my students so that they question the world around themselves; building their confidence and maximising opportunities for personal growth.
